Welcome to Holy Trinity Volleyball!

Volleyball is a great way for the kids to have fun with their peers, develop volleyball skills, and learn how to work together to be part of a team.

The Holy Trinity Volleyball Program is available for girls in grades 4 through 8 and is offered as a Fall sport.  We also offer high school volleyball for girls in grades 9 through 12.  High school volleyball is offered  as a spring sport.  The program is open to all children enrolled in Holy Trinity day school and parishioners enrolled in the Holy Trinity PSR program.

From year to year the number of teams varies depending upon the number of participants who register.  Registration for volleyball typically begins May 1st and stays open through the first week of June.

The CYO volleyball season usually runs from the very end of August through the month of October.  Practices begin the first week of October and are held at Holy Trinity gym.  Each team is slotted for 2 practices per week.  Games are typically scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.  Occasionally, the gym is unavailable for various reasons and we then move practices over to the Spirit club volleyball facility in Avon.

Regular season games are scheduled by CYO and can differ based on grade level.  Holy Trinity teams are allowed to sign up for 2 additional tournaments during the season.
For grades 4-6, teams are selected via a draft method and are evaluated to distribute the talent as evenly as possible across all the teams.  For grades 7-8, there is an evaluation night where players are evaluated for placement on a team which occurs after the Avon school tryouts are held.

Holy Trinity CYO encourages parents to consider volunteering for coaching roles to assist the development of our children.  A coaching application form can be found in the "Downloads" section of the home page on our website and can be submitted to the respective commissioner.  No prior coaching experience is required, however, a basic understanding of the sport is recommended.  Coaching is a very rewarding experience and a great way to be an active member of our CYO organization.

Any questions regarding the Holy Trinity Volleyball program or how to become a coach can be directed to our volleyball commissioner:
